Who we are:

The Rwanda Investment & Export Promotion Agency (RIEPA) China Office is a Rwandan government representative Office under the Ministry of Commerce.

It is charged with promoting investment opportunities and with facilitating bilateral trade, technological exchange and cooperation between both countries.


The major objectives of the office include:

- Promotion of Investment and Trade opportunities. The Office markets all investment opportunities in Rwanda and encourages Chinese companies to do business in Rwanda.

- Facilitate investors to establish themselves in Rwanda. The Office operates a “one Stop Centre” to assist investors start their business, enterprises or investment projects.

- Advise the Government on additional policies and initiatives needed to encourage and support investment in the country.

- Promotion and Facilitation of ICT (Information & Communication Technology) cooperation and exchange between Rwandese and Chinese institutions.
